Whimsical and Botanical Inspiration

Hello!

I’m Erin DuFrane-Woods.

I am a Watercolor and Mixed Media Artist living in Iowa. I make art because I have an intense desire to create with my hands, which brings joy to my creative soul. As a bonus, art helps me destress, process my emotions, and is my meditative practice.

My painting journey started with acrylics on canvas, paper, and repurposed boards. I then shifted to mixed media art which included acrylic painting with paper collage, texture mediums through stencils, paint markers, stamped images, and ink. My primary focus since 2018 has been watercolor, which I just adore.
